Laura Dore: That was a fun shoot! I got to go to Hawaii! He’s really nice. It rained a lot of the trip, so everyone was kind of stressed about getting it done. I helped build the bonfire in the video. [Laughs]

Hithiphop.com: Just seen the covers of Smooth Magazine’s upcoming 10th Anniversary issue. How does it feel to share covers w/ 50 Cent?
Laura Dore: I’m honored! Big thanks to Janero for making the Smooth cover possible!

You shed your clothing for the new cover but I know Smooth doesn’t publish full-on nudity. Would you ever consider shooting fully nude? If so, I own a camera!
[Laughs] The only way I would do a nude shoot is if it were for Playboy Magazine, and I was in complete control of the production and editing process.

You were featured in Kanye’s “Amazing” video. What was it like working with him?

I’ve read that you’d like to include more knives or weapons in your future shoots. Why is that? Are you a ninja?
Of course I am! I plan on starting my own medieval weapons collection. [Laughs] You can come over and play in my iron maiden.

This isn’t even a question. You are so f****** hot.
[Laughs] Thank you!

How do you keep that beautiful figure. Any secrets?
I workout a lot. I weight train and run six days a week. I also try to eat pretty healthy, although I do have my moments where I give into junk food. Running to death metal is my stress relief. [Laughs]

If you had to spend a weekend alone with any of the 3, who would it be? Lil Wayne, Drake… or Nicki Minaj?

Is the world gonna end in 2012?
Perhaps……

Is everything really bigger in Texas?
Well I know our hair is! [Laughs]

I hear you’re down with the fetish modeling as well. *Failed Rihanna voice* Why do chains and whips excite you?
[Laughs] I like how Alternative and Fetish modeling gives you more room to be creative, and visually express yourself. My fetish shoots definitely give you more of a sense of who I am as a person. Plus, I’ve always had a penchant for latex and vintage lingerie. [Laughs]

Tell me about your burlesque shows you’ve been performing in. How’d you get into that? And do I get front row seats to the next show?
Of course! I’ve always been a fan of burlesque. When I shot for fetish magazine Marquis, Erick Von Gutenburg suggested I perform at the next Marquis fetish ball. I wasn’t able to make that show, but it got me motivated to really get into performance art. Since then, I’ve performed at a variety of shows from LA to Texas. I’ve worked with some really amazing performers such as Bobbie Burlesque, Ruby Champagne, Victoria Vengeance, and Cardinal Syn.
