After being accused of laundering approximately $270 million for the BMF & serving 2 years in federal prison for lying to investigators, Jacob The Jeweler is officially free, sort of.. According to the New York Post, he was released from jail on March 25th & was transferred to a halfway house. He will continue to run his jewelry company Jacob & Co. during the day & report back to the halfway house every night until September.

Akon’s roster just got a little heavier with the latest addition of San Franscisco rapper Ya Boy. It has been confirmed that he will now be joining French Montana, Kardinal Offishall, Colby Odonis & Lady Gaga on the Konvict Music label. The “Yay Area” rapper was previously affiliated with The Game & BWS before moving on to his own ventures. No word on the release of any project as of yet so check back.
